Southern Fried Chicken
Maybe I’m missing the south, because I fried chicken for dinner tonight. Actually there was a sale on two-pack chicken, so that’s the real reason. I am going to make chicken soup with the other chicken (I will post the recipe for that when I make it). I usually soak the chicken in buttermilk overnight, but wasn’t planning on the sale. Seasoning the chicken directly and not the flour helps control the taste. I know I’m the diet chef, but my screen saver is chicken frying in oil (everything in moderation). If you want the recipe, just do a search for fried chicken, it’s one of the first posts I ever did.

Hi Jeff-I am still following-so sorry to hear about your Mother. Hope you are well -and dried out from all the rain-and life is being good to you!
Thanks, it’s been a strange year (and it’s still not over)! I was just thinking about you. I will be moving back to Charlotte in a few weeks, so we need to get together for lunch (and anyone else from Montgomery that wants!) Maybe we’ll invite Pam too?? I just got a call yesterday from the health inspector wondering why Taste Cafe was closed, and all of the equipment was gone. Real sad.
